Wahid Hasyim Pedestrian Improvement, located in Indonesia first shopping mall Sarinah, this pedestrian corridor connecting three big destination the first one is Metro Tanah Abang as lifestyle shopping center, second is Sabang Food Street as local hot spot for culinary and The third one is Gondangdia train station.
This project begin with a crystal clear objective that is to have a rejuvenation effect in order to create a disctinctive district identity. In order to achieve that objective we set three design approach, the first one is implementation of basic sidewalk element, the second is promote wayfinding to have knowledge exchange through wayfinding system and the third one to improve and enhance origin destination.
